The puncher, skates, heater and air mattress were forgotten by Aeroexpress passengers this winter
Mar 4, 2026
During the winter months, Aeroexpress passengers forgot 1,160 items on the company's trains, express buses and terminals. 240 passengers returned for their belongings.
Most often in winter, travelers left clothes, various electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops and headphones), documents, umbrellas, books, keys, bags and backpacks; slightly less often – travel pillows and jewelry. The most unusual finds were: a hammer drill, a violin, a child car seat, ice skates, a heater, an air mattress and a set of screwdrivers.
"In December and February, Sheremetyevo Airport passengers became the most forgetful, they left 750 different things on trains and express buses. On the route from/to Domodedovo Airport, travelers forgot 410 items. Lost items are stored in the Aeroexpress warehouse for 6 months from the date of loss. Only food products are not subject to storage, our specialists dispose of them immediately," said Vera Agafonova, head of the Aeroexpress press service.
To return a lost item, a passenger needs to contact the Aeroexpress hotline or a replacement specialist at the company's terminal and write a statement about the loss. Aeroexpress employees will respond to the contact information provided in the application and help the owner.
The Aeroexpress forgotten Goods warehouse is located next to the Belorussky Railway Station. Passengers can pick up their belongings according to the warehouse's opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 13:00 to 17:00. The forgotten item is delivered against receipt upon presentation of an identity document.
The passenger must inform the company's employees about the arrival of forgotten items at the warehouse by calling the hotline 8-800-700-33-77 (for calls from the regions of Russia and from mobile phones); 8-495-663-84-10 (for calls from Moscow) one day before the day of issue.
