Founded in 2005, Aeroexpress has become an integral part of the capital's transportation system. Amid heavy traffic congestion, the company offers a convenient and timely way to travel from Moscow and surrounding areas to the airports.
The company is continuously expanding its route network—today, passengers can reach Moscow's aviation hubs not only from central stations but also from a number of other well-integrated stations, connecting with metro and MCC lines. For instance, passengers can board a train to Vnukovo at the Aminyevskaya station, while Aeroexpress services to Sheremetyevo are integrated with the MCD-1 line. This allows direct access to the airport from 14 stations on the first ring, including Odintsovo, Slavyansky Boulevard, Savyolovskaya, and Okrug, as well as from major business districts like Moscow City and Skolkovo.
Aeroexpress operates comfortable rolling stock, including both double-decker and single-decker trains. The company was the first private operator in suburban passenger services to manage its own trains, establishing the Aeroexpress depot in 2012. Today, the depot services not only the company’s trains but also rolling stock from other operators.
Passengers can now travel to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports not only by train but also by Aeroexpress buses. In 2019, the company launched a regular bus express route from the Khovrino metro station to terminals B and C at Sheremetyevo. The route runs on the toll road M-11 with no additional stops, and the travel time is 20 minutes. Low-floor buses equipped with luggage racks serve this line.
In 2022, the company introduced express buses from the Domodedovskaya metro station to Domodedovo Airport. Passengers are transported in luxurious tourist-class buses with high comfort levels and spacious luggage compartments. The travel time is 30-40 minutes.
Aeroexpress is committed to providing the highest level of service. The terminals and trains are designed to be barrier-free, offering various ticket purchasing methods and diverse digital services. The company plans to continue improving airport accessibility and enhancing passenger services
