Safety Measures on Aeroexpress Trains, Buses, and Terminals
Nov 3, 2021
Aeroexpress is committed to ensuring the health and safety of passengers, taking all necessary measures to make travel to and from the airport safe and comfortable.
Here’s what we are doing to ensure safety amid the current epidemiological situation:
- We conduct wet cleaning of rolling stock and passenger terminals at least three times a day using certified disinfectants. All contact surfaces are regularly treated, including door buttons, seat backs, armrests, folding tables, surfaces of ticket counters and ticket vending machines, mobile cashier counters, turnstiles, and more.
- The double-decker Aeroexpress trains produced by the Swiss company Stadler are equipped with an air purification system. Here’s how it works: before entering the cabin, the air passes through a special chamber with ultraviolet lamps for disinfection. Only after this process does the air enter the cabin. These systems operate continuously throughout each journey.
- The spacious Aeroexpress cars allow for necessary social distancing. We have changed the boarding process at all Aeroexpress terminals. Boarding takes place throughout the entire duration of the train’s stop, which helps avoid passenger congestion and waiting.
- We strictly monitor the health of locomotive crews, bus drivers, and frontline staff. Before starting their shifts, employees undergo medical checks, including temperature measurement. UV lamps are installed at check-in points, and all staff are provided with personal protective equipment and hand sanitizers.
- In passenger areas at Aeroexpress terminals, we have placed reminders about personal hygiene measures and contactless hand sanitizers for passengers to use freely. We currently have 790 liters of hand sanitizer available. Special floor markings help maintain social distancing.
- Tickets for Aeroexpress can be purchased contactlessly through all available channels: on the website, in the mobile app, and via contactless payment at ticket counters, ticket vending machines, turnstiles, and bus drivers. We also provide constant audio announcements about the need to use personal protective equipment in public places, including on transportation.
Please take care of your health and the health of those around you by following safety rules.
