Aeroexpress Enhances Preventive Measures in Trains and Terminals Due to Coronavirus
Mar 16, 2020
Aeroexpress informs passengers about the enhanced disinfection measures in trains, buses, and terminals implemented in response to the current global epidemiological situation and the spread of Covid-19.
Aeroexpress is carrying out all necessary sanitary procedures to ensure passenger safety and prevent the spread of infection.
To disinfect contact surfaces, the frequency of cleaning train, bus, and terminal interiors has been increased, using specialized disinfectants. Cleaning includes the treatment of seat backs, armrests, folding tables, door handles, buttons, and other contact surfaces. Disinfection also applies to surfaces such as ticket counters, ticket vending machines, mobile cashier stations, turnstiles, and other surfaces.
Furthermore, the double-decker Aeroexpress trains manufactured by the Swiss company Stadler are equipped with an air purification system (APS). Before entering the passenger compartment, the air passes through a special APS chamber, where it is disinfected using ultraviolet lamps.
The company maintains strict health monitoring of train crews, bus drivers, and frontline staff. Employees undergo medical checks, including temperature measurements, before starting their shifts. UV lamps are installed at shift change points, and efforts are made to provide employees with personal protective equipment and sanitizers.
In Aeroexpress terminals, notices about personal hygiene measures that passengers should follow are posted. Additionally, efforts are being made to equip terminals with hand sanitizer dispensers.
Aeroexpress urges passengers to pay careful attention to their health and the health of others, adhere to personal hygiene rules, and follow the necessary precautions recommended by specialists.
