Seasonal briefings for locomotive crews and express bus drivers have begun at Aeroexpress
Oct 19, 2026
Ahead of the winter season, Aeroexpress is conducting annual scheduled briefings with locomotive crews and express bus drivers. This will help prepare the company’s specialists for work during the cold season and make trips to the capital’s airports, Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo, safer and more comfortable.
All locomotive crews (train drivers and their assistants) and express bus drivers — a total of 240 people — will be involved in the winter preparation activities. Following the briefings, the employees will take an internal exam.
“We conduct mandatory major briefings twice a year: before the summer and winter seasons. Train drivers, their assistants, and express bus drivers, together with specialized Aeroexpress staff, review various situations on the railway and road, including those involving pedestrians, and review the rules for boarding and disembarking passengers, passing through railway crossings and road intersections, and actions in emergency situations,” said Andrey Akimov, CEO of Aeroexpress. He noted that the briefings at Aeroexpress will continue until the end of November.
Staff training is not limited to seasonal events. During bad weather, daily briefings are conducted with locomotive crews and bus drivers before each trip, taking into account the current weather conditions. Special attention is paid to actions and professional skills in conditions of limited visibility, sudden temperature changes, ice, and snowfall.
Aeroexpress ensures the reliability and safety of transportation regardless of the weather; preparation for the winter season is one of the stages of this work.
