Aeroexpress passengers saved more than 14 million rubles over 5 months by paying for tickets via the SBP

Aeroexpress and the National Payment Card System (NPCS)* have summed up the results of a joint promotion, under which passengers received a 5% cashback when paying for trips via the Fast Payment System (FPS). Over the five months of the special offer, travelers saved more than 14 million rubles.

The promotion ran from May 1 to September 30 when purchasing tickets, subscriptions, and passes for Aeroexpress trains and express buses via the company’s official website, the Aeroexpress mobile app, with mobile cashiers, as well as at the company’s ticket offices and vending machines.

“The bulk of the cashback was received in July and August. In total, passengers received 0.7 million rubles in benefits during these months. We see a high demand for such mechanics.” The opportunity to get a refund for travel expenses is especially important during the holiday season, which is why the promotion was held during this period,” said Vadim Semikin, Deputy General Director and Commercial Director of Aeroexpress.

He noted that the joint promotion with NSPK has proven its effectiveness both for passengers and for the company, so new offers will be developed that will allow travelers to save on trips to the airport.

To receive cashback as part of the promotion, you had to register in advance in the “Hello!” loyalty program and select SBP when making a payment. After the payment was made, the cashback was credited to the account from which the funds were deducted within a few minutes.

Participants in the promotion received a refund of 5% of the trip cost; the maximum cashback amount was 1,500 rubles per month for each passenger.
