Approximately 200,000 rubles are returned to passengers each month thanks to the staff of the Aeroexpress Unified Dispatch Center

Since 2011, this unit has been the “brain center” for passenger transportation between the capital and the airports of the Moscow aviation hub, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of Aeroexpress trains and express buses and the safety of millions of passengers every year.

Over the course of a decade and a half of operation, the Unified Dispatch Center has transformed from a point of operational control into a modern situational center operating 24/7. The center’s specialists coordinate the movement of all trains and express buses operated by the company on routes to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo in real time, manage personnel at passenger terminals and railway stations, and locate lost items. On average, each year, security dispatchers find more than 100 passengers’ personal belongings, more than 50 bank cards, and 30 phones, which they return to their owners in coordination with the police. Every month, travelers get back about 200,000 rubles that were lost on trains, express buses, and Aeroexpress terminals.

“Today, our Unified Dispatch Center receives information from nearly 2,000 video surveillance cameras. This is necessary to ensure the maximum level of safety both on trains and express buses, as well as in terminals and at railway stations.” The Unified Dispatch Center is integrated into the electronic automatic systems of the city of Moscow, and our dispatchers work in the same information field as the city’s structures,” said Mikhail Kovalsky, Deputy General Director and Operations Director of Aeroexpress.

He noted that special attention in the work of the Unified Dispatch Center is paid to training qualified personnel at Aeroexpress’s own corporate training center.

“The video surveillance system of the Unified Dispatch Center has evolved from projector complexes with lenses to modern digital solutions.” Recently, modern HD panels, combined into a large video wall, were installed for Aeroexpress dispatchers. This innovation will allow for faster switching between data sources and even more prompt response to changes in the situation,” emphasized Dmitry Lyubeznov, head of the Unified Dispatch Center of the Aeroexpress company.

Thanks to the round‑the‑clock operation of the Unified Dispatch Center, Aeroexpress trains and express buses run to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports with an accuracy of over 99%. Dispatchers not only monitor the transport schedule but also maintain communication with airports, Russian Railways, and other city services.
