T2 subscribers have made more than two thousand trips on Aeroexpress, exchanging minutes and gigabytes for tickets
Jul 23, 2026
T2, a Russian mobile operator, and the carrier company Aeroexpress have summed up the results of a month of the offer to exchange traffic for tickets. The opportunity to pay for transfers to airports with accumulated gigabytes and minutes has proven to be in demand among travelers: during this time, customers have made more than two thousand trips, turning digital resources into kilometers of travel.
The high-speed electric train was the most popular choice, with customers choosing it about 1,500 times. Additionally, more than 500 customers opted for express buses. The offer allows each customer to exchange their traffic for two tickets during the entire duration of the offer. Many customers took advantage of this opportunity to ensure a comfortable round-trip transfer.
The scale of the exchange demonstrates the high demand for the offer. To pay for two thousand trips, T2 customers collectively exchanged about 82,500 gigabytes or 1.27 million minutes. This amount of internet traffic is enough to download a media library of more than 5,000 4K movies for in-flight viewing on a smartphone. If we convert the exchanged minutes into voice communication, 1.27 million minutes are equivalent to almost 900 days of continuous conversations.
The exchange option is available until August 31. The electric train ticket is valid on routes between Domodedovo Airport and Paveletsky Railway Station (with stops at Belorussky Railway Station and MCD stations), as well as between Sheremetyevo and Odintsovo station. Exchange for express buses is available for trips from Domodedovo to the Domodedovskaya metro station and from Sheremetyevo to the Khovrino metro station. The process takes a few seconds in the T2 mobile app: after clicking the "Exchange" button, the system generates a unique QR code that the passenger uses to scan the turnstile at the entrance and exit of the station, or to scan the terminal when boarding a bus.
Vadim Semikin, Deputy General Director and Commercial Director of Aeroexpress:

We are pleased that T2's commitment to quickly implementing new solutions has allowed us to offer customers a simple and cost-effective service that has already proven to be popular."
Andrey Borzov, Product and Customer Experience Director at T2:
"During the holiday season, we want to save our subscribers from unnecessary routine and unexpected expenses. This year, we have launched several travel solutions that have become real hits. One of them is the exchange of traffic for Aeroexpress tickets. We don't just offer options for the sake of variety; we only launch what our subscribers need.
