17.2 million passengers have been served by the Aeroexpress terminal at Domodedovo Airport since its launch

Thanks to the launch of the multifunctional Aeroexpress terminal complex in 2021, passengers at Domodedovo Airport have a new "seamless" and most comfortable travel scenario from Moscow and back: travelers enter the airport directly from the railway platform, and the journey from the train to the check-in desks takes no more than 5 minutes.

"On average, our Domodedovo terminal serves about 3.5 million passengers annually. For the convenience of travelers, it is connected to the airport building by a spacious pedestrian gallery that combines the railway and aviation infrastructure into a single seamless complex. A separate security checkpoint has been integrated into the pedestrian gallery, which makes it possible to significantly unload the main airport entrances," said Andrey Akimov, CEO of Aeroexpress.

He noted that in five years of operation, the Aeroexpress terminal has become not just a transit point, but a full-fledged transport hub with a well-developed service system. In 2026, two photo exhibitions dedicated to Cosmonautics Day and Russia Day were held here.

On the two lower floors there are ticket offices, ticket machines, cafes, shops, a baggage packing point and spacious waiting areas for passengers, which are designed for peak loads. Elevators and escalators are installed between the floors for the convenience of traveling with luggage. The necessary elements of an accessible environment for low-mobility travelers are provided: tactile tiles on the platform, adapted ticket counters and turnstiles, and restrooms. There is a hotel for transit passengers on the third and fourth floors of the terminal.

Aeroexpress connected Domodedovo Airport with the center of Moscow in 2008. Today, trains run every half hour and take passengers from Paveletsky Railway Station to the airport in 45 minutes. You can also take the Aeroexpress train to Domodedovo at Verkhniye Kotly station, which is integrated with the MCC station of the same name, and at the railway station in Domodedovo.

You can also get to Domodedovo Airport by Aeroexpress express buses from Domodedovo metro station in 30 to 40 minutes, with minimal traffic congestion - in 20 minutes. Buses leave towards Domodedovo and back every 15 minutes. The stops are conveniently located at the exits from the metro and airport terminals.
