In June, Aeroexpress passengers forgot 270 different items: 200 items were on the route to Sheremetyevo airport and 70 on the route to Domodedovo.
Most often, the company's passengers left seasonal items: umbrellas, a variety of summer hats, sunglasses, makeup bags and light outerwear. There were also more traditional finds that were not tied to the time of the year: phones and accessories for them, documents and bank cards, keys.
In June, travelers forgot a lot of unusual things on the company's trains, express buses, and terminals. The most interesting specimens were a large bunch of dill, a spinning reel, a folding camping chair, a pet bowl, a food tray, a canvas for drawing, a professional hair comb, white beads, a perfume bottle, a paper letter, mango and avocado, a wallet with eight types of currencies from different countries, a driller's ID, a microphone stand.
"On June 13 and 25, our employees found the most lost items – 30 and 18 pieces, respectively. And on June 21, passengers did not forget anything, such days happen quite rarely, especially in the summer," said Vera Agafonova, Director of Public Relations at Aeroexpress.
She noted that in June, 70 travelers returned for their belongings.
Lost items are stored in the Aeroexpress warehouse for 6 months from the date of loss. Only food products are not subject to storage, they are immediately disposed of.
To return a lost item, a passenger needs to contact the Aeroexpress hotline or a replacement specialist at the company's terminal and write a statement about the loss. Aeroexpress employees will respond to the contact information provided in the application and help the owner.
The Aeroexpress forgotten Goods warehouse is located next to the Belorussky Railway Station. Passengers can pick up their belongings according to the warehouse's opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 13:00 to 17:00. The forgotten item is delivered against receipt upon presentation of an identity document. The passenger must inform the company's employees about the arrival of forgotten items at the warehouse by calling the hotline 8-800-700-33-77 (for calls from the regions of Russia and from mobile phones); 8-495-663-84-10 (for calls from Moscow) one day before the day of issue.
