More than 1.3 million Aeroexpress passengers took advantage of the stop in Domodedovo
Jun 24, 2026
Since the launch of the stop in July 2021, more than 1.3 million people have used Aeroexpress trains to get to Domodedovo and back. Most passengers were transported in 2025 – over 370 thousand people.
The launch of the Domodedovo bus stop allowed residents of the Moscow region city not only to quickly and comfortably get to the airport of the same name – the journey time is only 13 minutes – but also to use the Aeroexpress train to get to the center of Moscow in just half an hour.
"For the comfort of passengers, ticket vending machines are installed at Domodedovo station, and turnstiles on the platform are adapted for reading Aeroexpress tickets. In 2026, the station's passenger traffic is steadily growing, and we carry 1.1 thousand passengers daily, which is 17% more than last year," said Andrey Akimov, CEO of Aeroexpress.
An Aeroexpress train ticket must be saved until the end of the trip, regardless of which way the passenger is heading.
Aeroexpress trains running between Paveletsky Railway Station and Domodedovo Airport make another intermediate stop at Verkhniye Kotly station. From this station, you can make a quick transfer to the MCC station of the same name, ground transportation and the Nagatinskaya metro station.
Since the end of March, Aeroexpress trains to Sheremetyevo Airport have been running faster. Passengers can get from Belorussky Railway Station to Sheremetyevo Northern Terminal Complex (terminals B and C) in 46 minutes instead of 50 minutes earlier. This made the trip to the airport even more comfortable for 11,000 passengers daily.
