Veterans of the Great Patriotic War will be able to use a free ride in the Aeroexpress business class
Apr 25, 2026
From May 1 to May 10, Aeroexpress organizes free travel in business class cars for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and their accompanying persons.
The privilege is granted to citizens of the Russian Federation: participants, veterans and invalids of the Second World War, former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention, persons awarded the badge "Resident of besieged Leningrad", "Resident of besieged Sevastopol" and "Resident of besieged Stalingrad".
"From May 1 to May 10, veterans of the Great Patriotic War will be able to take advantage of free travel in business class cars in all directions of Aeroexpress trains. Tickets can be issued out of turn at the company's ticket offices at airports and train stations. To do this, you need to present documents confirming the preferential status," said Aeroexpress CEO Andrey Akimov.
He noted that Aeroexpress employees will present memorable gifts to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War when issuing a travel document.
Recall that travel in standard-class cars of Aeroexpress trains for veterans of the Great Patriotic War is always free. The Personal Assistant escort service is available. It operates in all directions of the company's trains and is provided free of charge. The service includes meeting passengers at the Aeroexpress terminal, assistance in processing travel documents, assistance in boarding cars and baggage placement in the Aeroexpress. If necessary, a company employee will arrange for the veteran to be escorted to the airport check-in desk.
From May 1, wartime songs will be played at the Aeroexpress terminals at Belorussky Railway Station, Domodedovo Airport and Sheremetyevo Airport's Southern Terminal Complex.
