40 people wrote a Total dictation in a moving double-decker Aeroexpress train
Apr 18, 2026
Aeroexpress has become a platform for Total Dictation for the sixth time. This year it took place on an Aeroexpress train moving from Belorussky Railway Station to Sheremetyevo Airport.
40 people tested their literacy in a business class carriage of a double-decker Aeroexpress train. The text of the dictation was read by Russian journalist and TV presenter Mikhail Kozhukhov. After the event, all participants received memorable prizes from Aeroexpress and Mikhail Kozhukhov Travel Club.
Previously, Aeroexpress twice conducted Total Dictation at the company's Unified Control Center at Sheremetyevo Airport and at the depot at Belorussky Railway Station, once on a train traveling from Savelovsky Railway Station to Sheremetyevo.
This year, Alexey Varlamov, a writer, publicist, rector of the Literary Institute and an honored artist, became the author of the dictation text. He prepared material about the childhood of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin and his relationship with his parents.
Russian Russian Dictation is an annual cultural and educational event aimed at generating interest in learning the Russian language and improving the literacy level of native speakers and learners of Russian as a foreign and non—native language.
