40,000 passengers visited the exhibition of astronomical photographs at the Aeroexpress terminal at Domodedovo Airport
Apr 13, 2026
Aeroexpress summed up the results of Space Week at its venues: an exhibition of astronomical photographs, prepared jointly with the Moscow Planetarium in honor of Cosmonautics Day, was visited by 40,000 people during the week. The small passengers of the company received 1,100 booklets on the topic of space.
From April 1 to April 30, thematic activities are organized for passengers on trains, terminals and social networks of the carrier.
Until the end of April, an exhibition featuring images taken at the Small Observatory of the Planetarium is open in the waiting area of the Aeroexpress terminal at Domodedovo Airport (ground floor). Visitors can see the Sun, star clusters, planetary nebulae and other objects. The exhibition is open to everyone.
From April 6 to April 12, the company's employees distributed colorful themed booklets with assignments to young travelers at the terminals at Paveletsky and Belorussky railway stations. The manuals, developed with the Moscow Planetarium, were designed for children aged 6-11 and are dedicated to space and travel.
In addition, educational videos from Roscosmos and the Moscow Planetarium will be broadcast on Aeroexpress trains on routes to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports from April 1 to 15. They introduce the preparation of rockets for launch, cosmonaut training, Russia's achievements in space, and also visually show how much a person would weigh on different planets and how space bodies behave near black holes.
Aeroexpress also launched a series of space-themed practical jokes on social media. The winners will receive prizes from the company and the project partners.
The event is held as part of Space Week in Russia. On December 29, the President of Russia signed a decree on the annual holding of the Week. The organizer of the Space Week is the State Corporation Roscosmos.
