2.2 million passengers transported by Aeroexpress in January – March

In the first three months of 2026, Aeroexpress trains and express buses transported 2.2 million people to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports and back, which is 9% more than the same period last year. Most trips were recorded in January.

1.4 million people used trains, which is 10% more than in the same period last year, and 800,000 passengers used express buses, which is 6% more than in the same period in 2025.

"Aeroexpress passenger traffic is growing especially actively during peak travel periods. During the New Year holidays, during the February and March weekends, travelers used Aeroexpress trains and express buses an average of 13.6% more often than on normal days. During the record snowfalls in Moscow and the Moscow region, which took place in January and February of this year, the number of passengers increased by an average of 20%," said Aeroexpress CEO Andrey Akimov.

He noted that in January-March, the largest number of passengers were delivered to Sheremetyevo Airport – 1.5 million people, Domodedovo Airport accounted for 700 thousand passengers.

Express buses run from Khovrino Metro Station to terminals B and C of Sheremetyevo Airport every 10 minutes, to Terminal D every 15 minutes; from Domodedovo Metro Station to Domodedovo Airport every 15 minutes.
