Aeroexpress prepares trains, express buses and infrastructure for the summer

Aeroexpress depot specialists carefully inspect the rolling stock, including checking the microclimate systems in the train cabins, external sliding doors, seat blocks and flooring in the cars, and if necessary, replace worn elements. A set of measures is also being carried out to prepare train traction equipment for operation in conditions of elevated air temperatures.

"In order to make passengers' trips to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports comfortable and reliable during the hot season, the company's specialists carry out seasonal training of rolling stock and infrastructure for the summer period. Today, more than 50% of trains, express buses and infrastructure are ready for the warmer months. The scheduled inspection will be completed at the end of April," said Andrey Akimov, CEO of Aeroexpress.

To ensure a comfortable stay for passengers in terminals in the summer, Aeroexpress employees check the operation of engineering networks, infrastructure structures and equipment, adjust climate systems, and perform general cleaning in terminal buildings, including washing facades, passenger platforms, and navigation elements, including outdoor floor navigation. In addition, the inventory and equipment for maintenance of exterior structures are being inspected, as well as the readiness of cleaning services to work in the summer.

The company's express buses also undergo a scheduled technical inspection: all on-board systems responsible for the smooth operation of transport are monitored, and the braking system, steering, and running gear of vehicles are being audited. Specialists will pay special attention to checking the air conditioning systems in the bus interiors and engine cooling, door seals, windows and hatches, and door mechanisms. Seasonal briefings with all the company's drivers will also begin in April.
