Aeroexpress conducts daily briefings for train drivers and express bus drivers in bad weather
Feb 9, 2026
To make trips to the capital's Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports safe and comfortable during the cold season, including in bad weather, Aeroexpress conducts daily briefings with train drivers and express bus drivers before flights. On the eve of the winter season, scheduled training of rolling stock and infrastructure for operation in the cold and a large-scale annual briefing with staff were also carried out.
"To improve the quality of service and the safety of our passengers during adverse weather conditions, we conduct daily briefings with express bus drivers and drivers on safe driving in difficult weather conditions. We pay special attention to the professional skills of our specialists: compliance with the speed limit, the peculiarities of movement along the most emergency sections of routes: intersections, pedestrian crossings, railway crossings, maneuvering in confined spaces, rules for boarding and disembarking passengers," said Andrey Akimov, General Director of Aeroexpress.
It should be recalled that before the start of the winter season, the company's specialists conducted commission inspections of trains, checked the microclimate systems in the car interiors and the serviceability of the windshield heating systems, restored the seals of the exterior sliding doors so that a comfortable temperature was maintained in the cabin in any weather.
Depot employees diagnosed mechanical and electrical equipment, control and measuring devices, checked the operation of warning lights, searchlights, buffer lights, interior lighting systems and vestibules.
To ensure a comfortable stay for passengers in the terminals during the winter period, Aeroexpress employees checked the operation of heating and ventilation systems, the availability of inventory and equipment for servicing exterior structures, and inspected the readiness of cleaning services to maintain cleanliness and sanitary safety in the terminals.
The company's express buses have also passed a technical inspection for reliable operation in the cold season. As part of the seasonal maintenance, all on-board systems responsible for the smooth operation of transport were monitored, and the braking system, steering and chassis of buses were audited. The specialists paid special attention to checking the heating equipment in the bus interiors and engine cooling systems, door seals, windows and hatches, and door mechanisms.
