During the New Year holidays, the number of Aeroexpress passengers increased

During the past New Year holidays, from December 31 to January 11, Aeroexpress trains and express buses transported more than 300,000 people.

Trains transported more than 188,000 people to and from Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports, which is 15.3% more than in the same period last year. Express buses transported 113,000 passengers, which is 13.3% more than in the same period in 2025.

"During the New Year holidays, the peak passenger traffic on railway routes occurred on January 9 and 10, with 22,500 and 19,500 passengers, respectively. Express buses transported the most passengers on January 9 and 11, with 11,000 and 10,900 passengers on each day, respectively," said Andrey Akimov, General Director of Aeroexpress.

During the New Year holidays, Aeroexpress trains and express buses operated to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports according to their regular schedules.

It was possible to go to the airports every 30 minutes. Express buses also ran on a standard schedule: from the Khovrino metro station to the B and C terminals of Sheremetyevo airport – every 10 minutes, to the D terminal – every 15 minutes; from the Domodedovskaya metro station to the Domodedovo airport – every 15 minutes.
