Aeroexpress completes operation on the route “Kievsky railway station - Vnukovo airport”

Since August 1, Aeroexpress ends operation on the route “Kievsky railway station - Vnukovo airport”.

Aeroexpress launched passenger transportation in this direction in 2008 and for 16 years of work has fully accomplished the task of providing transport accessibility of Vnukovo airport, having built a reliable and convenient railway connection between Kievsky railway station and the airport with a regular schedule, comfortable rolling stock and high-quality passenger service.

Over the 16 years of the route's operation, Aeroexpress trains have transported more than 30 million passengers. Today, trains to the airport run every hour, with a travel time of 33 minutes. Passengers are transported by comfortable Lastochka trains. On the way there is an intermediate stop at Aminievskaya station, where it is possible to make a quick change to the Big Circular Ring metro line.

Aeroexpress will focus on developing routes to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports, as well as on developing express bus service to the airports. Both railroad and bus routes of the company to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports will remain unchanged. Let us remind also, that since June 1 Aeroexpress has launched one more express bus route from metro station “Khovrino” to terminal D of Sheremetyevo airport.

Passengers who purchased tickets for Aeroexpress in advance to travel to/from Vnukovo airport in the period from August 1, will be able to return their tickets. To do this, it is necessary to fill out a feedback form on the company's website.
