Delegation of the Belorusian Railroad paid a working visit to Aeroexpress

The delegates inspected the infrastructure and rolling stock of Aeroexpress and took part in a working meeting with the company's specialists.

Aeroexpress representatives told their colleagues about how the railway connection between the main airports of the Moscow air hub and the center of the capital is organized, and also demonstrated how the coordination of operational activities in the Unified Dispatch Center of the company and maintenance of rolling stock in the Aeroexpress depot is carried out. The delegates traveled from Belorussky railway station to Sheremetyevo airport on a double-decker train "Aeroexpress", which was developed according to a special technical assignment of the company taking into account the specifics of traveling to the airport.

The guests noted the comfort of the rolling stock, convenience of the timetable, high level of technological equipment of the depots, convenience of the passenger terminals united with the airport buildings in a single complex on the principle of "dry feet", as well as a high degree of integration of "Aeroexpress" routes with the urban transportation system of Moscow.

The Republic of Belarus is currently carrying out a comprehensive study of a project to organize rail passenger transportation between Minsk and Minsk National Airport.
