Since the launch, the express buses have transported 3.9 million passengers to and from Sheremetyevo Airport. To ensure a swift journey, the buses use a toll road, with a travel time of 20 minutes.
“From the very beginning of this project, our goal was to create not just a bus route, but a high-quality transfer service to the airport with predictable travel times, a convenient schedule, and comfortable vehicles. Since the launch, we have continually worked on further developing this route. Today, Aeroexpress buses are a popular way to reach Sheremetyevo Airport, and the demand continues to grow. Each month, the buses transport an average of around 170,000 passengers, and in the first nine months of this year, passenger traffic on this route increased by over 50% compared to the same period in 2022,” noted Aeroexpress CEO Andrey Akimov.
This year, the company reduced the bus departure interval to 10 minutes and completely updated the fleet on route No. 1195 – passengers are now transported in brand-new, low-floor NEFAZ buses of a large class with a capacity of over 100 people. All buses feature spacious doors for easy boarding and alighting, modern climate control systems to maintain a comfortable temperature year-round, and are adapted for passengers with physical disabilities, including space for wheelchairs and a fold-out ramp.
Bus stops are located at Exit No. 2 of the Khovrino Metro Station, and at Sheremetyevo Airport, near the exit from Terminal B.
You can check the schedule and fares, as well as purchase tickets for the express bus on the company’s website and in the Aeroexpress mobile app. Payment can be made with a bank card, Troika card, or cash upon boarding. Travel is free for children under 7 years old.
