For 18 years, Aeroexpress has provided a convenient and timely way to travel from Moscow and some surrounding areas to the capital's aviation hubs. The company's route network is constantly evolving—today, passengers can reach Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports not only from central stations but also from a number of other well-integrated stations connected with metro, MCC, and MCD lines. For example, passengers can board a train to Vnukovo at the Aminyevskaya station, while Aeroexpress services to Sheremetyevo are integrated with the MCD-1 line, allowing direct access to the airport from 14 first ring stations, including Odintsovo, Slavyansky Bulvar, Savyolovskaya, and Okruzhnaya, as well as from major business clusters such as Moscow City and Skolkovo.
All routes use modern and comfortable rolling stock, including both double-decker and single-decker trains, which the company services independently at its own depot. Since 2012, this depot has not only serviced Aeroexpress trains but also rolling stock from other operators—over 50 trains in total.
The company is also actively developing its bus services to airports. Aeroexpress buses operate on two routes: between Khovrino metro station and Sheremetyevo airport, and between Domodedovskaya metro station and Domodedovo airport. They run daily, departing every 15-20 minutes depending on the direction. Passengers are transported in comfortable buses with modern interiors, spacious luggage compartments, and racks. Stops are conveniently located right next to metro and airport exits.
“Aeroexpress today is not just a comfortable train from the center of Moscow to the airports. Aeroexpress is a reliable transfer that allows each passenger to build the most convenient route to the airport, using various options for transfers from other types of urban transport and choosing their preferred mode of transport—train or express bus. We are constantly working on expanding the route network, integrating Aeroexpress into major transport hubs, launching bus routes, and making airport trips from different parts of Moscow more accessible and convenient—this is our company’s mission,” said Aeroexpress CEO Andrei Akimov.
Aeroexpress is committed to providing passengers with the highest level of service. The company not only offers a comfortable and safe transfer but also ensures that passengers arrive at airport check-in counters on time. In the event of a delay caused by unforeseen circumstances, Aeroexpress compensates not only the cost of the ticket but also any additional expenses incurred by the passenger—such as airfare and hotel costs.
The terminals and trains are designed to be barrier-free. The company offers a free assistance service called “Personal Assistant” for passengers with reduced mobility. Various ticket purchasing methods and digital services are available, including Yandex Pay, SberPay, the Fast Payment System, and biometric payment systems.
