As part of the project, passengers will be able to see a video dedicated to this developmental feature on Aeroexpress trains running to Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports for a month. The main objective of the video is to increase knowledge about autism.
“We hope that this social project will help dispel myths about people with autism and establish effective interaction with them and their loved ones. Aeroexpress works to make travel as comfortable as possible for all categories of passengers, including people with mental and sensory disabilities - the train carriages have a low noise level, soft seats, there are special places for strollers, and you can order a free Personal Assistant support service on all routes, - said Natalia Saksonina, head of the Aeroexpress press service.
"Every April, we try to remind people that all year and all our lives we live in a world where all people are different. And despite the fact that people with autism may have difficulties in communication and interaction, they, like everyone else, love to have an interesting time, make friends, work, visit exhibitions, stadiums, parks, and travel. And so that they can do all this, it is important to change society's attitude towards people with autism and their family members. We are glad that for the fourth year in a row Aeroexpress supports our campaign and together with us tells its passengers about this developmental feature,” noted President of the Naked Heart Foundation Asya Zalogina.
Autism is the most common developmental feature. According to the Russian Ministry of Health, there are more than 300 thousand children with autism in Russia.
