Aeroexpress and the Naked Hearts Foundation to Launch Joint Awareness Campaign

Apr 1, 2022

Aeroexpress and the Naked Hearts Foundation are launching a joint awareness campaign, #Саутизмом, about Autism Spectrum Disorder to help dispel myths surrounding this developmental condition.

Throughout the month, a video will be shown on Aeroexpress trains to increase understanding of autism. The campaign aims to challenge various misconceptions, including the belief that autistic individuals cannot communicate, make friends, learn, work, or be successful. The project is timed to coincide with World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.

“Aeroexpress is delighted to support this socially significant project and help raise awareness about autism, the most common developmental condition. We hope this knowledge will help eliminate barriers towards people with this condition,” said Natalia Saksonina, Head of Aeroexpress Press Service.

“As we continue to assist children and young people with autism in accessing education, learning to communicate with family and friends, and living a full life, changing societal attitudes towards people with autism and their families is crucial. We hope that the short video on Aeroexpress trains will help passengers learn more about people with autism and move us closer to an inclusive society,” said Asya Zalagina, President of the Naked Hearts Foundation.

This marks the third time Aeroexpress has been an informational partner for the Naked Hearts Foundation’s campaign. The first campaign was held in 2019, and the second took place in April of the previous year.

The company is dedicated to making travel as comfortable as possible for every passenger. Aeroexpress trains are adapted for travelers with children, those with limited mobility, and individuals with sensory and mental conditions. Trains feature low noise levels, comfortable seating, designated spaces for strollers, and the option to request a free “Personal Assistant” service.
