Aeroexpress Prepares for Winter Season
Nov 1, 2021
Aeroexpress is conducting its routine preparations for winter operations to ensure reliable, safe, and comfortable transportation during the colder months.
The seasonal inspection involves a thorough check of the rolling stock and terminals. Aeroexpress specialists are inspecting the trains' climate control systems, seals on sliding doors, heater functionality for the driver's cabins, and air conduits. They are also checking and adjusting the seals on undercarriage electrical compartments.
Special attention is given to the functionality of automatic air disinfection systems. In the double-decker Aeroexpress trains, air is passed through ultraviolet lamps before entering the cabin. This disinfection system operates continuously throughout the journey.
In addition, preparations for the terminals include ensuring passenger comfort. This involves inspecting heating and ventilation systems, checking the availability of equipment and supplies needed for winter maintenance, and reviewing the readiness of cleaning services to maintain cleanliness and sanitary safety.
The cleaning staff perform wet cleaning at least three times a day using certified disinfectants. This includes treating seat backs, armrests, fold-down tables, door handles, and buttons on the trains. In the terminals, surfaces such as ticket counters, ticket vending machines, mobile cashier stands, and turnstiles are also regularly disinfected.
Aeroexpress has prepared over 790 liters of hand sanitizer for passengers. Dispensers are located in passenger areas of Aeroexpress terminals. The company encourages passengers to take care of their health and the health of others by using personal protective equipment while using public transportation.
