Aeroexpress Announces Schedule Changes on Sheremetyevo Route in July
Jul 14, 2021
Aeroexpress informs passengers about changes to the train schedule to Sheremetyevo Airport from July 16-18 due to planned railway maintenance. Some services will be canceled. To accommodate passengers, express buses from the Khovrino metro station will run more frequently and will make an additional stop near the Aeroexpress terminal.
July 16:
- All Aeroexpress trains between Sheremetyevo Airport and Belorussky Station will operate according to the standard schedule, except for the 23:45 departure from the airport, which will be canceled.
July 17:
- Trains from Belorussky Station to Sheremetyevo will depart at 12:05, 13:35, 14:49, 18:05, 20:05, and 21:35.
- From Sheremetyevo, trains will depart at 5:15, 11:07, 12:42, 13:47, 18:17, 20:17, 21:47, and 23:17.
- Other Aeroexpress services will be canceled.
July 18:
- Trains to Sheremetyevo will operate every 30 minutes from 12:05. All services before 11:35 will be canceled, except for the 6:00 departure.
- From Sheremetyevo, there will be no train services until 11:45. From 12:15, trains will resume operating on the regular schedule.
Alternative Transportation:
- To assist passengers during train cancellations, the frequency of express buses will be increased. Buses will depart from Khovrino metro station and Sheremetyevo Airport every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes at other times. Buses will make an additional stop near the Aeroexpress terminal, which is a 5-minute walk from Terminal D. Passengers arriving at the railway terminal can travel comfortably to Moscow directly from the terminal exit.
- Using the metro with a transfer to the express bus will save time for passengers traveling to the airport. Buses use a toll road and deliver passengers directly to Terminal B in just 20 minutes, where most flights currently depart.
The Aeroexpress terminal at Belorussky Station will operate as usual. If passengers arrive at Belorussky Station, company staff will assist in finding the optimal route to the airport.
Passengers are strongly advised to check the train schedule before traveling and to arrive at the Aeroexpress terminals in advance.
