When purchasing Aeroexpress tickets, passengers can also book sightseeing tours in the city they are travelling to. Using the new option ‘Guided Tours’, which is already available on the company’s home page, it is possible to choose and book excursions to more than 600 destinations around Russia and all over the world. All passengers need to do is select a city, choose the sightseeing tour they like, specify the date and number of people and read the tour programme. They can also look through comments from other travellers and learn more about the tour guide. Both individual and group tours are available for booking.

‘We are planning to add more features to the Aeroexpress website and make it a convenient digital platform for planning all journey stages. The ‘’Guided Tours’ service is our first step in this direction. While planning a trip to the airport, it is now possible to develop a journey programme. We intend to add more useful options in the future, including the possibility to book plane tickets,’ said Mikhail Grafchikov, Chief Commercial Officer of Aeroexpress. 

Aeroexpress website users can book unusual tours to learn about the history of some city and visit its secret bars, roofs and modern art galleries or cook lunch together with a local chef.

The feature has been implemented together with Tripster, the online booking service. Starting from 2013, its specialists have been looking for the best tour guides and arranging individual and group tours. Among the guides, there are journalists, historians, architects and many other interesting people captivating travellers with their knowledge.
