COVID-19 Testing Now at Aeroexpress Terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport

On 17 December, a testing centre opened at the Aeroexpress terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport, where passengers can take a Covid-19 test. PCR tests are conducted by the ORIS network of medical and diagnostic clinics based on the Citilab laboratory.

Results take 12 hours after a test has been carried out. To save time when taking a test, you can fill out an online form at https://orisfirm.ru/anketa-svo/. It is also possible to open the form by clicking the action promotional banner on the home page of aeroexpress.ru. If you fill out the form in advance, testing procedure will take 5 minutes. You will only need to sign your form at the testing centre and then take the test.

The service costs 1,800 roubles. When providing their Aeroexpress tickets, patients will obtain a discount of 400 roubles, which is equal to the price of their ticket. Therefore, passengers can offset the cost of their Aeroexpress trip in full.

‘Covid-19 testing is one of the most demanded services with passengers. The most convenient way to take a test is to do it upon arrival at the airport. To expand testing facilities at the airport, we have decided to open a testing centre at the Aeroexpress Terminal of Sheremetyevo Airport. This makes it possible to save both time and money as all visitors to the testing centre will offset the cost of their journey’, said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress.

To obtain a discount, it is necessary to provide an Aeroexpress ticket with the date which is 7 days before or after a visit to the testing centre. One ticket gives the right to obtain a one-time discount for one person. The special price is 1,400 roubles. The offer is valid from 15 December to 15 January.

There is a special floor marking at the testing centre to ensure passengers’ safety and convenience as well as to maintain social distancing. There is also a queue management system. To shorten the service time, there is a special stand at the entrance. It shows a QR-code, and by scanning it, visitors can open an online form. PCR tests are only provided to people having no symptoms of a cold.

It is worth reminding everyone that all Russian citizens arriving from abroad must take a COVID-19 PCR test within three (3) days upon their arrival in Russia and upload their results to the Unified Public Services Portal.

Aeroexpress is a safe transfer service to and from the airport. The company is taking all the required measures aboard its trains and at the terminals to prevent the infection from spreading. Cleaning with disinfecting solutions is carried out at least three times a day. The air aboard double-decker trains is regularly disinfected by antibacterial cleaners embedded in the ventilation system. Single-decker trains are disinfected every night using portable antibacterial lamps, and spacious carriages make it possible to maintain a safe distance. The Aeroexpress terminals are furnished with sanitizers. There is a special floor marking. Passengers are continuously informed about the necessity to wear personal protective equipment and to maintain a safe distance.
