Aeroexpress Trains Now Disinfected with Cold Fog

Aeroexpress places a high priority on passenger health. Sanitary measures necessary for safe travel are consistently implemented regardless of external circumstances. Since the worsening of the epidemiological situation, preventive measures have been significantly intensified to prevent the spread of infection on board. Now, as the schedule has been restored and passenger flow gradually increases, the company has further strengthened safety measures by introducing an additional disinfection method—cold fog treatment with disinfectants.

This method is currently one of the most effective. The disinfecting fog, created by a special generator, fills the entire space and reaches even hard-to-access areas, sanitizing all surfaces and the air. Certified disinfectants are used during this process. Disinfection is conducted at Aeroexpress depots, and after processing, the train compartments are ventilated, allowing entry just two hours later.

“Passenger safety is our absolute priority. The technology for conducting disinfection procedures is strictly regulated, and we closely monitor its implementation, applying new methods. When entering an Aeroexpress train, passengers can be assured that all contact surfaces and the air are regularly disinfected and all sanitary requirements are met. Additionally, in all Aeroexpress trains and passenger terminals, wet cleaning with disinfectants is performed at least three times a day. In the double-decker trains, continuous air disinfection is carried out using antibacterial purifiers integrated into the air supply system. In single-decker Aeroexpress trains, air disinfection is performed every night using portable antibacterial lamps.

Aeroexpress is taking all necessary measures to ensure travel safety and encourages passengers to also observe personal preventive measures: use personal protective equipment and maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters from others.
