Aeroexpress Railcards Extended to the End of the Year
Apr 3, 2020
The company has extended the validity of all purchased plastic railcards that have unused journeys as of 31 March.
Therefore, the validity of over 1,300 railcards has been extended to 31 December 2020. The same extension applies to nearly 25,000 e-tickets purchased after 1 February.
All passengers who have purchased tickets online in advance at the Standard, Business, Round-Trip, Duo, Duo Round Trip, Group and Group Round-Trip rates and have not used them due to their journeys being cancelled will be able to use their tickets on any suitable day until the end of this year.
If a passenger decides to cancel their journey completely, a ticket price will be refunded in full. To receive the refund, they need to send a request via the feedback form on aeroexpress.ru by filling in the Claim/Ticket Refund section.
If a railcard owner doesn’t plan to use the remaining journeys, the respective refund will be paid in full. To receive it, passengers should approach Aeroexpress specialists at the ticket offices located at the Kievsky Rail Terminal before their railcard expires, i. e. before 31 December.
It is worth reminding customers that Aeroexpress has introduced enhanced preventive measures aboard all trains and at all terminals. First-line personnel have been provided with individual protective gear, and their health is being strictly monitored. In order to disinfect frequently-touched objects, the train interiors and passenger terminals are now cleaned more often using specialized disinfecting solutions. All terminals have been furnished with informative posters describing personal protective measures and reminding everyone of the necessity to keep the distance of 1.5 m from other people. Particular floor marking has been placed at gathering areas.
