Disinfection Procedures aboard 20 Trains and at 6 Aeroexpress Passenger Terminals
Jan 27, 2020
During the winter season, it is particularly important to take special preventive measures regarding flue and cold-related illnesses. Aeroexpress regularly carries out preventive procedures aboard all trains and at the Aeroexpress terminals.
In order to disinfect the air and frequently-touched objects, Aeroexpress performs a particular set of procedures, regardless of the season.
The daily cleaning of train interiors includes the application of disinfecting agents on seat backs, armrests, folding tables, door handles, buttons, and other surfaces frequently touched by people. Walls, windows, and toilet equipment also undergo disinfection.
Double-decker trains, produced by Swiss manufacturer Stadler and designed in accordance with Aeroexpress’ unique technical specifications, are equipped with climate systems that have special air disinfection devices. Before coming inside the train, the air enters a particular section of such devices, where ultraviolet lamps disinfect it.
All facilities at Aeroexpress passenger terminals are regularly treated with specialized disinfecting solutions.
