Fashion Show Aboard Aeroexpress Double-Decker Train on Sheremetyevo Route
Nov 15, 2019
On 19 November, the first ever fashion show aboard a running Aeroexpress double-decker train serving the route between the BelorusskY Rail Terminal and Sheremetyevo Airport will take place.
Guests of the event will see the collections of famous Russian designers en route to the airport and back again. Viktoria Andreyanova, Sergey Efremov, Zima, Freedom Atelier, Rainbow and others will showcase their collections.
The event is organised by First Fashion Group, a Russian agency that has already presented fashion shows at the airport, on a skyscraper roof, in a tropical greenhouse, and at other exotic venues.
“We are happy that, among a wide variety of trains currently in operation in Russia, the organisers have opted for Aeroexpress double-decker trains. This is additional proof that our trains, produced by the Swiss manufacturer Stadler, offer passengers a very high level of comfort. Moreover, such comfort makes it possible to hold fashion shows aboard a train while in transit to the destination point,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to hold such a show, which has never taken place in the fashion industry before. We always choose extraordinary and creative venues for our shows and transform such shows into real art performances. In today’s Russia, technologies introduced by Aeroexpress, the new level of service and modern rolling stock make it possible to use trains both as a means of transport and as venues for such world-class events. I believe this show is just the beginning for further projects and collaborations. This time, the romance of cutting-edge high-speed trains and current fashion trends will have a unique embodiment, and there is no doubt that this event will go down in history,” said Alexander Bogza, founder of First Fashion Group.
It is noteworthy that Aeroexpress put the first double-decker vehicle into service along the route between the Belorussky Rail Terminal and Sheremetyevo Airport on 9 November. The company plans to completely replace the rolling stock serving the Sheremetyevo route with double-decker trains before the end of this year.
