Oct 31, 2019
During the two weeks, since regular express bus services were launched on the route between the Khovrino metro station and Terminal B at Sheremetyevo Airport, 10,000 passengers have opted for this kind of transfer.
Virtually 4,500 and 5,000 people were transported to the airport and Moscow, respectively.
Express buses are provided daily from 7:30 to 21:00 at 15-minute intervals. The route runs along the M-11 toll road and buses make no additional stops. Therefore, travel time does not exceed 20 minutes.
Bus stops are located near Entrance 2 of the Khovrino metro station and to the left of the exit from Terminal B at Sheremetyevo Airport. Bus stops are furnished with red navigation signs. Buses are red with a logo, in accordance with the Aeroexpress corporate style. The route and travel time are specified on them. The route number is 1195.
The bus interiors are equipped with baggage racks; Wi-Fi is available onboard vehicles. The buses offer everything necessary for transporting physically challenged people, including a ramp for wheelchair passengers, special places to fasten wheelchairs on a designated platform, and buttons to communicate with the driver. The low level of the bus floor and the kneeling system (the floor tilts towards the doors at bus stops) facilitate getting on and off the bus for passengers with luggage.
Bus tickets are available via aeroexpress.ru and the company’s mobile app, as well as upon boarding from drivers (cash or bank cards are accepted). The fare is unified and amounts to 150 roubles. Children under 7 years of age travel free.
