Aeroexpress to Support Winter Universiade 2019

Between 18 February and 18 March, Aeroexpress will be transporting volunteers for the Winter Universiade 2019 to Sheremetyevo Airport, where they are going to greet and meet the participants and guests of the Student Games and later see them off. The volunteers will also be able to travel from the airport to the city free of charge after they complete their work at the airport.
Before walking through the turnstiles to board the Aeroexpress train, volunteers will have to provide their badges, obtained from the accreditation centre, together with their ID to the attendants at the terminal.
“It has already become a good established tradition for our company to support sports events,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress. “During the FIFA World Cup and the Confederations Cup, a total of 33,000 and 13,000 volunteers, respectively, used our company’s services. We are pleased to offer our assistance for the duration of the Student Games and will certainly support the Russian team.”
XXIX World Winter Universiade 2019 will take place on 2-12 March in Krasnoyarsk. The organizers of these student games have commissioned 5,000 volunteers to perform dozens of varied jobs, including meeting and greeting participants and guests of the games at the airport, helping the delegations with accommodation, as well as providing assistance during the award ceremonies. 4,000 of the volunteers are Krasnoyarsk residents and the rest will be arriving at the competition’s venue from other cities across Russia.
