Since early 2019, nearly 12,000 passengers have used Troika card to pay for their ride on Aeroexpress trains. This is 50% higher than for the same period in 2018, when approximately 8,000 people used Troika to pay for travel.

On average, 2,000 people a month have been using their Troikas to purchase tickets since the year began.

To pay for a trip using Troika, a passenger should place it onto the reader of an Aeroexpress turnstile. The price of a ticket will be charged off automatically. A sufficient amount of money must be deposited on the card account. Passengers can top up their Troika cards at any of the Aeroexpress ticket offices.

It is also possible to pay for travel at the Aeroexpress turnstiles using contactless payment services, including MasterCard, MIR, Union Pay, Visa, Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay.
