Tourists who have purchased a card will receive a voucher to travel by Aeroexpress.
Starting from October 10, Aeroexpress tickets can be purchased when buying a Moscow CityPass. Together with the card, a traveller will obtain a voucher with a QR code, which should be placed face down on the turnstile in order to reach the train. The cost of a train ticket for Moscow CityPass holders is RUB 470.
“We are pleased to cooperate with Moscow CityPass and hope to attract more foreign passengers this way,” says Aeroexpress Chief Operating Officer Valery Fedorov. “Travellers opting for such tourist cards clearly value comfortable and well-planned journeys. Thus, we are confident that they will appreciate our company’s service.”
“It is an honour for us to collaborate with such a brand as Aeroexpress,” says Alexander Mityaev, CEO of Russia CityPass. “Tourists will be able to purchase a card from the Russia CityPass website while at home and benefit from the major sightseeing options included in the card, and also be able to purchase Aeroexpress tickets. They will only need to place their voucher on the turnstile in order to reach Moscow from any airport, bypassing ticket offices and queues.”
With the Russia CityPass, there is no need to purchase museum and/or sightseeing tickets. It is enough to place the plastic card face down on the reader. Card holders can visit the most popular sites without having to stand in a queue. Apart from the included visits to museums, galleries, palaces and viewpoints, as well as travel via double-deck buses and river journeys, such cards offer discounts for restaurants, taxi services, and shopping malls.
