Aeroexpress Ready to Put Express Buses from Khovrino to Sheremetyevo (Terminal B) into Operation

On 15 October, Aeroexpress is putting regular express buses from the Khovrino metro station to Terminal B at Sheremetyevo Airport into service.

The first bus services are scheduled to depart at 7:30 a.m. in both directions. The express buses will be provided in both directions daily from 7:30 to 21:00 at 15-minute intervals.

The route runs along the M-11 toll road and buses will not make any additional stops. Therefore, travel time will not exceed 20 minutes.

Buses will stop near Entrance 2 of the Khovrino metro station and to the left of the exit from Terminal B at Sheremetyevo Airport. The bus stops are furnished with red navigation signs and screens displaying the real-time schedule.

Buses are red with a logo, in accordance with the Aeroexpress corporate style. The route and travel time are specified on them. The route number is 1195.

“Eight express buses are fully ready to start operating along the route. Inside, they are equipped with baggage racks, special seats for disabled people, and navigation signs. We have hired drivers and obtained all permits necessary to access the route. Thus, starting from 15 October, express buses will start operating in full mode between Khovrino and the Northern Terminal Complex (NTC) of Sheremetyevo Airport. We expect this project to ensure the NTC with new high-quality direct transfers and help passengers to significantly reduce time and make travelling easier,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress.

“Every comfortable flight starts with a trip to the airport. This is why it is essential to provide individual drivers and public transport with an unhindered and quick access to the airport. Given the plans to put Terminal C, which is part of the NTC, into operation in the short term, the total passenger capacity of the terminal complex will have reached 40 million passengers by early next year. Bearing this in mind, the new Aeroexpress project is really up-to-date and ensures another reasonable and convenient way for passengers to reach Sheremetyevo Airport,” said Andrey Nikulin, First COO at MASH.

Bus tickets are available via aeroexpress.ru and the company’s mobile app, as well as upon boarding from drivers (cash or bank cards are accepted). The fare is unified and amounts to 150 roubles. Children under 7 years of age travel free if they do not occupy an individual seat.

Baggage, for which the total height-width-length dimensions do not exceed 180 cm, may be transported aboard express buses.
