Starting from 20 June, the company has been recording nearly 4,000 downloads of its mobile app per week on iOS and Android devices. This is 45% higher than before.
Since early this year, over 85,000 new users have installed the Aeroexpress app. This service was launched in 2012 and the app has been downloaded around 700,000 times since then.
On 20 June, Aeroexpress teamed up with the Citimobil taxi provider and introduced a new combined fare called Aeroexpress + Taxi that is only available via the mobile app. This multimodal fare makes it possible to travel from the airport to the rail terminal by train and then continue the journey to the required destination by taxi, using a unified e-ticket.
In addition to a ticket purchasing feature, the Aeroexpress mobile app provides all necessary information on the train timetable, fares, travel regulations, flight information for Moscow airports, and much more.
