Starting from 28 December, Aeroexpress trains running between Paveletsky Rail Terminal and Domodedovo Airport will be making an intermediate stop at the newly-built Verhniye Kotly platform at the Paveletsky link of the Moscow railway.
Trains arrive at the intermediate station 7 minutes after their departure from Paveletsky Rail Terminal and 35 minutes after their departure from Domodedovo airport.
For passengers’ convenience, ticket offices and TVMs have been already installed at the platform. Exits to Aeroexpress trains are marked with the corresponding signs.
To board the train, a passenger will have to show the ticket before entering the platform and keep it until the end of the journey.
“Aeroexpress intermediate stops offer, first of all, a new level of comfort for our passengers. Travellers can choose the most convenient place to board and exit the train and transfer to other required means of transport in Moscow. For those residing in nearby areas, a trip to Domodedovo airport should take only 35 minutes,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress.
From the Verhniye Kotly platform, travellers can change to the MCC station with the same name, buses, trolleybuses, and trams. Nagatinskaya station of Serpukhovsko–Timiryazevskaya metro line is at a walking distance.
In September 2018, Aeroexpress put into operation the first intermediate stop at the Okruzhnaya platform, located on the Sheremetyevo route. From there, passengers can board trains to go to the airport. No boarding is available in the direction of Belorussky Rail Terminal.
