Aeroexpress has announced changes to its fares

On November 1, 2018, Aeroexpress updated its fares, focusing on passengers who travel in pairs and large groups. The new ‘Duo’ and ‘Duo Round-Trip’ tickets are now available at the company’s ticket offices and via other sales channels.

The new ‘Duo’ fares are designed for two passengers travelling together. One ticket at the ‘Duo’ or ‘Duo Round-Trip’ rates costs 850 and 1,450 roubles respectively. Therefore, one passenger will pay 425 roubles for a one-way ticket and 363 roubles for a round-trip ticket, which is virtually a 30% discount of the cost of a regular ticket.

The cost of the ‘Family & Friends’ and ‘Family & Friends Round-Trip’ fares, introduced by Aeroexpress in the spring of 2018, will remain the same. These group fares are designed for large groups of travellers. A single one-way ticket costs a little over 200 roubles per passenger.

For those passengers planning their trips in advance, the new ‘Advance’ fare is available from November 1. The cost of a one-way regular ticket, purchased 4 to 90 days before the planned travel date, will be 450 roubles. Tickets at this fare are available via the Aeroexpress website and mobile app.

It is also noteworthy that the company has upgraded its ‘Round-Trip’ fare and made it 15% more affordable. Now one return ticket for two trips costs 850 roubles, regardless of the way of purchase. Previously, the cost of such ticket amounted to 1,000 roubles when purchased from ticket offices and ticket vending machines.
