Ticket sales via Aeroexpress App increased by 27%

Over 560,000 passengers have purchased Aeroexpress tickets using the company’s mobile application since the beginning of 2018. This is 27% more than during the same period in 2017.
This makes up nearly 7% of the total number of tickets sold since January 1, 2018. Every month around 60,000 tickets are purchased via the company’s mobile app.
The mobile application was first introduced in 2012. Since its launch, nearly 600,000 users have downloaded it. According to Moscow’s Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, the Aeroexpress app is one of the top-3 most popular transport apps with Moscow residents.
“The most used app features are the ticket online booking and the timetable. They save significant time and help passengers plan their trips to/from the airport. Moreover, the app users can also check airports’ online flight information, provide feedback, save their order history and take advantage of a personal user account,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress.
Standard, business class, round-trip and some group fares are available via the app that is compatible with iOS and Android.
