58% Higher Demand for Aeroexpress Group Travels

Nearly 470,000 people opted for Aeroexpress group fares during this summer, which is 13% of the total passenger traffic for this period.

The largest increase of 77,000 people was recorded for the Sheremetyevo route. The Vnukovo route showed the most vigorous group ticket sale dynamics, with an increase of 85% over the last year.

“After the new group fares were released, virtually 600,000 passengers decided to use them, almost twice as many as last year. We are happy to offer our customers the most beneficial solution to travel with Aeroexpress by combining all the advantages of the previously existing fares. We have managed to make journeys between the airport and the city both comfortable and more cost-efficient as one person in a group pays approximately 200 roubles,” said Mikhail Kovalsky, Acting CEO of Aeroexpress.

The Family & Friends and Family & Friends Round-Trip fares were introduced by Aeroexpress in April and replaced the Group and Family fares.
