Aeroexpress and LitRes Launch Joint Campaign to Coincide with City Day

Sep 6, 2018

Between 7th–30th September, Aeroexpress passengers purchasing tickets online will be granted with a free promo code to download one book about Moscow from LitRes, the largest e-book and audiobook library.

The campaign coincides with City Day celebrations. Passengers can choose one of the following books to download (in Russian):

Old Moscow’s Alleys—history, architecture, routes.

The Heart of Moscow—from Kremlin to Bely Gorod.

Moscow on Foot—the most fascinating walks around the capital.

In addition, passengers can benefit from a 30% discount for the entire LitRes catalogue that will be valid for three days from the promo code activation date.

“We are sending our best wishes to Moscow residents and guests to the city on this holiday. Together with LitRes, we are glad to make journeys to and from the airport both comfortable and entertaining. During 35–45 minutes of travel, our passengers will have a chance to learn about interesting walking routes and go sightseeing after they arrive at one of the central rail terminals,”  said Ekaterina Lobanova, Press Secretary of Aeroexpress.

It is noteworthy that Aeroexpress trains run to the Belorussky, Paveletsky, and Kievsky Rail Terminals, which are at a walking distance to Moscow famous sights.

“We are pleased to grant Aeroexpress passengers free books about Moscow on the occasion of City Day. LitRes strives to promote both e-books and the idea of reading itself,”  commented Irina Graaf, Chief Marketing Officer at LitRes. “We have been developing the Mobile Libraries project for three years. It makes classic masterpieces and outstanding modern books available via links shown on special posters. In Moscow, this service has already been offered to passengers travelling through the Belorussky, Kazansky and Paveletsky Rail Terminals and Sheremetyevo Airport. Moreover, the Moscow Central Circle joined the project in 2017, with 30 online book shelves offered to passengers.”
