Famous Aviation Bloggers Visit Aeroexpress Depot and Joint Dispatching Centre

On the occasion of Railroad Workers’ Day, the company held a tour for famous aviation bloggers.

Nineteen people came to see how Aeroexpress operates. Among them were Gennady Martynov, Konstantin Ventslavovich, Alexey Petrov, Maxim Denisov, and Julia Kuzmina.

At the depot, visitors explored Aeroexpress rolling stock, watched the processes involved in maintaining and repairing trains, and learned about the peculiarities of the locomotive crews’ work and training, as well as their duties.

After that, the guests went to see Aeroexpress’ Joint Dispatching Centre, located at the company’s office at Sheremetyevo Airport. The bloggers travelled to the airport by Aeroexpress train and were able to evaluate the comfort of their journey.

At JDC visitors saw, in real time, how specialists coordinate Aeroexpress trains’ operation along all routes, monitor safety and security conditions and actual situational changes at different facilities, etc.

“I like it all. I hadn’t even thought how many mechanisms are involved in the company’s work.I was also impressed to see how positive and proud the centre’s employees are when they speak about their work,” Konstantin Emchenko shared his emotions.

“Aeroexpress is one of the most up-to-date railway companies in our country. During the tour, I saw the modern approaches the company takes to resolve various issues. Aeroexpress’ success is setting an example for many other carriers,” said blogger Daniil Baev.
