Number of Passengers Using Aeroexpress Group Fares Increases by 2.5 Times

In April, Aeroexpress passengers purchased 14,000 group tickets, which were recently introduced by the company. The result is that the total number of people travelling with group tickets increased by 2.5 times (by 25,000 travellers) compared to the same month last year.
The Family & Friends fare has been the most popular with passengers, accounting for 89% of the total number of group ticket sales.
16% of all group tickets were sold via e-channels (the mobile app and Aeroexpress website), which were previously not available for purchasing group tickets.
It is noteworthy that the Family & Friends and Family & Friends Round-Trip fares were introduced by Aeroexpress in early April and replaced the Group and Family fares.
The new fares, Family & Friends and Family & Friends Round-Trip, are designed for groups of up to four people. One ticket costs 950 and 1,700 roubles respectively. Thus, the price of a trip for one person is approximately 200 roubles.
Another brand-new group fare, Federal Family & Friends, is designed for people visiting Moscow. One ticket allows taking two trips and is valid for up to three people. The price for this ticket is 1,500 RUB. Therefore, a one-way journey will cost one passenger 250 roubles. Federal Family & Friends tickets are sold by Aeroexpress representatives at the arrivals areas of Moscow airports.
A standard ticket purchased from a ticket office costs 500 RUB.
