Aeroexpress Tells about Conditions of Carriage during 2018 FIFA World Cup

Apr 23, 2018

Football fans attending Moscow matches, along with volunteers, people included in the FIFA lists, and non-accredited journalists may travel with Aeroexpress free of charge.

To take a ride, a person should have the following documents:

- Fans attending sports events held in Moscow must provide their Fan ID and a ticket to a Moscow match;

- Volunteers must have a volunteer card and a special railcard received from the accreditation centres;

- People included in the FIFA lists must have an accreditation card and a special railcard received from the accreditation centres;

- Non-accredited journalists must provide their journalist ID and a special railcard received from the accreditation centres.

Tickets will be issued to fans via Aeroexpress ticket offices two days prior and two days after the match date, as well as on the date of the game upon the provision of corresponding documents. A ticket to one match gives the right to no more than two rides in a standard railcar.

Volunteers, people included in the FIFA lists, and non-accredited journalists do not need to have tickets from Aeroexpress ticket offices. They will pass through the turnstiles using a special railcard.

Volunteers may enjoy free rides between 14 May and 25 July, while people included in the FIFA lists and non-accredited journalists will be able to travel free of charge from 25 May to 25 July.

“We are designating special zones with turnstiles for football fans and those entitled to free travel to pass through. This will help us distribute passenger flow and eliminate queues. The passage to such zones will be marked with corresponding signs and guardrails,” said Aeroexpress COO Valery Fyodorov.

Aeroexpress representatives will oversee the compliance with the conditions of carriage and check if all the necessary documents are in place at the turnstiles.
