Aeroexpress to Enhance Safety Measures For New Year and Christmas Holidays

Dec 21, 2017

Just ahead of New Year’s and Christmas, Aeroexpress is operating all its facilities in advanced safety and security mode.

Due to the increased number of passengers, particular attention is paid to access control, examining passenger baggage, and identifying abandoned objects at the terminals and aboard the trains. Cynological services are working 24 hours per day on every route serviced by the company.

Starting from 1 December, the transport safety and security department, which consists of two rapid action teams, has started operation at the Aeroexpress Terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport. This department will be regularly on duty.

“Aeroexpress is doing its best to ensure the safety and security of Moscow residents and guests of our city by increasing the number of security guards and cameras and by involving additional resources during periods of strong passenger flow,” said COO Valery Fyodorov.

Moreover, Aeroexpress has provided extra training to its employees and has developed a plan of action to ensure transport security, avoid and eliminate force majeure situations, and prevent illegal intervention in the company’s operation.
