Dedicated to the year of ecology in Russia, this exhibition was organized with the assistance of Aeroexpress and is now taking place on the third floor of the company’s terminal at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Pskov, Leningrad, Murmansk, and Krasnodar regions, as well as St. Petersburg and the Russian Arctic National Park (Arkhangelsk region), have all taken part in the project.
The photo exhibition, which is free of charge, conveys to visitors just how large Russia is and how diverse the flora and fauna of different climatic zones are in this massive country. When moving from one stand to another, visitors will travel to Frantz Josef Land on an icebreaker, go fishing in a preserved corner of the Vologda region, see reindeer herders in the Arkhangelsk region, and admire blossoming mountain slopes in the Krasnodar region.
For foreign guests, this exhibition may become their own kind of guide to Russia. Every visitor will be able to determine his own ecological route to travel around the country. The exhibition may be viewed by anyone wishing to see it, before departing on their Aeroexpress train or after arriving at the airport.
The ‘Russia. Travel Ecology’ photo exhibition will run until 30 October, 2017.
