This project is being implemented as part of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup advertising campaign. The Cup will take place between June 17 and July 2 in several Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Kazan.
We recall that Aeroexpress is actively engaged in the preparations necessary to hold the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and in developing Moscow's transport infrastructure.
As part of the measures taken by the company to prepare for the FIFA Football Championship, Aeroexpress is putting its new platform into operation at Domodedovo Airport in March 2017. The upgraded platform will make it possible to increase the carriage capacity along this route and significantly enhance the service quality. In addition, a new Aeroexpress rail terminal is currently being constructed at Domodedovo Airport.
"As a rule, Aeroexpress is the first mode of city transport used by guests of the Russia's capital," says Valery Fyodorov, Chief Operating Officer at Aeroexpress. "We are confident that football fans traveling to Russia to attend the Confederations Cup will choose our trains as a modern, convenient, and fastest means of transport."
It is noteworthy that, during the days of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, train tickets to Moscow visitors will be free of charge, in accordance with Decree No.79-PP issued by the Government of Moscow on 06.03.2017. To travel for free, fans will need to present their match tickets and passports.
