A free rail service on a high-speed train to/from Sheremetyevo is offered to a passenger only if a ticket with a confirmed rail journey is booked in advance in an Aeroflot sales office. In this case the information about the rail journey is shown in the e-ticket.
To be issued a train ticket, a passenger needs to approach a special Aeroexpress ticket office having the respective information sign “AEROFLOT/AEROEXPRESS SERVICE”. The ticket offices can be found in the company’s terminals at Belorussky Railway Station and at Sheremetyevo Airport. A passenger needs to show a printed-out e-ticket with a confirmed rail journey and the passport.
The new service has been introduced as part of the continued cooperation between the two companies seeking to develop the combined journey, as well as according to the special program “Aeroflot Shuttle” being implemented on the Moscow – St. Petersburg – Moscow airway. The program is aimed to reduce the service time on the flights between the two cities in Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo airports.
The new joint project is the next step in the evolving cooperation between OJSC Aeroflot and LLC Aeroexpress to organize rapid, reliable, comfortable and the most cost-effective delivery of passengers to the airport.
Every day, 26 trains run both ways on the route between Belorussky Railway Station and Sheremetyevo Airport. A high-speed Aeroexpress runs between Belorussky Railway Station and Sheremetyevo Airport, making a stop at Savyolovsky Railway Station, from 5.50 in the morning till 11.30 in the evening.
